Meet Dr. Cassaidy

I love coming to the office and working alongside my talented staff. I especially enjoy getting to know my patients and love it when I see them in the community and realize that I played a part in giving them their brilliant smile.

Dr. Cassaidy received her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa. She completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Minnesota, where she received her Master of Science and orthodontic certificate.

Dr. Cassaidy has practiced orthodontics in Ames since 1995. She recently retired from full-time orthodontics but still works in the office a few days a month as she continues to enjoy helping patients achieve their best smiles!

She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Iowa Society of Orthodontists, and American Dental Association. She has been involved with numerous local clubs and societies and loves to spend time serving her community.

In her free time, Dr. Cassaidy enjoys being with friends and family. She and her husband Brian have three grown children: sons Kyle (and his wife Britteny) and Ben, and daughter Lauren.

Dr. Cassaidy enjoys watching college sports and reading or listening to audiobooks. She also likes staying active by bicycling, kayaking, fitness classes, cross-country skiing, and traveling to the mountains to hike or downhill ski.
